My name is Lucky Rutland. I am an artist from New Zealand, but have lived in London for over 30 years. My forte is sculpture but I also work with paint and ceramics. I draw my inspiration from Mother Nature in all her beautiful forms. I grew up on a farm, so animals and trees have a big influence on my art. I have always been drawn to  magical creatures, fantasy stories and spiritual teachings. I sculpt from life models and produce drawings and charcoal images. I also run ‘Lucky Studio’, an art school based in The Chocolate Factory 2 in Wood Green, North London. I have been teaching art for 19 years both children and adults, from four to eighty-five. In my adult classes I teach ceramics, sculpture, wheel, painting  and drawing.
